I was blog surfing today and Heather Howland blogged about this and so I had to spread the word - literally!
There are many words in the English language that we no longer use! It's sad! So, there is this wonderful site where you can go adopt these words that need so much of our love!
These are three words that I adopted!
magistricide
(n.) the killing of a teacher or master
snollygoster
(n.) a shrewd, unprincipled person, especially a politician
nubivagant
(adj.) moving throughout or among clouds
What words will you adopt? Go Save the Words!

Haha! Thanks, Anastasia. I adopted four words of my own and included them in a post today with a link to your blog!

Hi, Anastasia. The word I want to adopt is "representation," as in Mr. Yeomans, I want to offer representation to you to become your agent!
You, too, right?
You have a fun, breezy blog, Roland
Great idea! I love looking through the dictionary and finding antiquated words that I believe should still be in use.
What a great site! I plan on much ironic use of the word 'flosculation' in the near future.
Thanks for the shout out :-)
If I don't stay off that site, I'm going to adopt an entire dictionary!! LOL
Thanks for the link back Olivia!
Oh Roland! Yes me too You just crack me up!
I do too Medeia. My husband thinks I'm weird because I do that LOL.
Thanks for stopping by and becoming a follower Franklin! I appreciate it!
You're welcome Heather! I'd like to get a copy of that dictionary when you're done creating it!
