When I first decided to start this blog, I was a bit nervous as what to say exactly. While this blog will be centered around my adventures with writing my epic novel "The Faery's Tale", I wanted to add in little points of writing I have learned along the way as well. Hopefully my followers will enjoy following me along this path as well as a learn a thing or two so perhaps they can write their own novel as well!
So, let's get started.
This novel started out originally as an idea (of course), that started when I was around ten years old. It sat for many years in the back of my head as I felt I did not have the skills at the time to write such a story. I finally began working with the characters in this piece when I wrote a story for my daughter. Then I let it sit, thinking that my Muse had been appeased. How wrong I was! I decided to try and write more to the story, geared more towards young adults than children. It started off very simply, of course, and now has grown into a three part epic with a sequel or perhaps a fourth part already in the idea bank.
It seems that there is so much more to the story than I first thought at the age of ten. Now at the age of 25, I am ready to buckle down and write the entire story to share with every one. Part One is finished and I am working on the rewrite at the present moment. I need to find a title for this part but so far I am having no luck in finding one! That can wait however, til later. I'm sure my followers will have some suggestions for me and they are greatly appreciated!
So, onward and upward, as they say!
