Let's go round again...

Author: Anastasia V. Pergakis // Category:

Wow! I am so sorry to all of you that have been looking forward to my new schedule. I'm having the worst trouble getting back into the swing of things here since my break! But, I spent the weekend getting ready to get back on the band wagon here and I'll be spending this afternoon doing a bit more organizing. (My desk is a disaster area!) I need get my space organized and cleaned up here, and hopefully that'll spur me to get back on track here.

I have nothing to report on this Mundane Monday really besides that fact that I am just a few chapters away from finishing the epic rewrite of "Burden of Prophecy"! FINALLY! I know! Those of you that have been following me for a long while know how much of a struggle this has been for me, but I am very pleased that it is almost done. I finally worked out all the plot holes and sub-plot story lines, so that they now work cohesively with each other. Thank the Gods! I was beginning to think I would never figure it out!

I am hosting a WriMo in July over at Writing.Com for anyone that would like to join! It's just like NaNoWriMo in November, except you can work on rewrites and things like that. NaNo is a great month and I always have some great writing come from it, so I wanted to host another month of it to really spur the creativity! So, come join me to JulNoWriMo! It's open to any novel writer regardless of genre or type. (Note: You have to be a member of writing.com to participate, but it's really easy to sign up!) I'll be posting my daily progress in the JulNoWriMo page of my blog here linked in the right side bar. I'll also post a weekly total during Mundane Monday's post for a weekly update sort of deal.

Anyway, I think that is all that is going on with me right now. I'll probably think of twenty other things once I post this, but I'll save it for next week to make sure I have something to post!

Oh wait! I did recieve a lovely award from Bryan Sabol over at the "Time Guardian Blog"

The rules of this award are pretty simple:

1. Thank and link the person who sent it to me.
2. Tell 7 things about myself.
3. Pass the award to 15 recently discovered bloggers that I think are fantastic.
4. Tell the bloggers you have given them an award.

Thanks Bryan for this great award! It really made my day! I just hope I can find seven things about myself I haven't already said on this blog! Might have to pull out some silly things for this one, but that's okay!

1. I only need about 4 hours a sleep a night, but then once every two weeks or so, I need about 16 hours!

2. I am a junk food junkie! Seriously, I live on one full meal a day (dinner cooked by my wonderful hubby - a chef!), chips, candy, pepsi, and cigarettes. (Amazing I'm still here right?)

3. I don't carry a purse, although I own two or three of them (all black). I carry money and cards in a wallet - with a chain. The black leather wallet has "Live to Ride, Ride to Live" in a banner over an eagle.

4. I hate the sound of my own voice. I find it very annoying. It sounds worse when I record it.

5. I have a very loud obnoxious laugh -- made worse by the fact that when I'm really laughing hard, I snort - loudly and repetatively.

6. I am the messiest organized person. I'm weird about how things are organized in my house. The DVD's and VHS's are in ABC order, my closet is color coded, and my book shelf is in order by author and series. I don't keep up with the dishes and regular house cleaning like I should -- but I will stop everything to make sure the videos and books are in the right order!!

7. Honestly, I never planned or wanted to be a parent. It was not in my list of things to do in my life. But, the Gods had different plans for me it seems as I have had two chidlren. I would not give them up for anything and I do love being a Mom!

And the 15 wonderful bloggers who recieve this award: (Okay, I didn't follow the "newly discovered" rule here, as I that could mean any number of things - newly discovered for me, to blogger in general...)

1. Haley Jo @ A Journey Through The Mind
2. Tamara Heiner @ Chasing Dreams
3. Simon Larter @ Constant Revision
4. Mireyah Wolfe @ Where the Zombie Bunnies Roam
5. Eric Trant @ Digging With The Worms
6. Eisley Jacobs @ Eisley's Ellipses
7. Amalia T. @ Good to Begin Well, Better to End Well
8. Nicle Decleroir @ One Significant Moment In Time
9. Shannon Messenger @ Ramblings of a Wannabe Scribe
10. Roland Yeomans @ Writing In The Crosshairs
11. Lauren (aka True) @ Anatomy Of A Gummi Bear
12. Annie McMahon @ Dutch Hill News
13. Kurt Chambers @ Genius Bordering Insanity
14. Jay Eckert @ Jay Eckert's Sharpened Pen
15. Tessa Conte @ Tessa's Blurb

And now I am off to tell all this lovely folks about their award! See you all on the flip side!

Post about Some Things

Author: Anastasia V. Pergakis // Category:

This post is going to cover a few things, so let's get into the thick of it shall we?

Blog Award!

Woot! I lurves getting blog awards! They make me happy (and warm and fuzzy inside!) So, this one I got twice in the span of a few hours - which made me oober happy! (I don't spell it with a u because I'm awesome like that!)

Both Mia and Dawn gave me this award and I am so thankful and honored that they think I'm Prolific!

1. Haley Jo at A Journey through the Mind
2. Tamra at Chasing Dreams
3. Charity at My Writing Journey
4. Shannon at Ramblings of a Wanna be Scribe

Okay, I only gave out four here because Mia went on an awarding rampage and awarded everyone on MY list too! So.....I picked four awesome bloggers and people that she had NOT tagged. But there are many more, but I just could not make the final cut for #5. Just know, I love all of you who follow me and those that write the 100+ blogs that I follow!

...and now for the bad news

Lately I have gotten behind with my work. I'm late grading assignments (again this month), I have only finished one chapter of my rewrite this month (goal was 9 chapters), and the only reason why I'm making any blog posts at all is because people are giving me stuff to blog about. I don't comment on the blogs I follow that much anymore (super guilty about that), and my website progress has come to a stand still (though all that is left really is to copy and paste my book stuff on there for the novel pages). And, I am trying to set up a workshop that I will be running next month.

My brain is literally fried at the moment!

I have a super busy schedule as you all can learn about here, a post I made at Simply Certifiable - another blog that I write for.

But what do I do? I can't take a break - or at least I feel like I can't. I have commitments! People counting on me! Workshop, the Academy, my own writing! But alas I feel a break is definitely needed. So here is my proposal on how to refresh my brain, but not give up on my responsibilities.

I will NOT log into Twitter for a whole week.
I will NOT go into WDC chat for a whole week. (Unless workshop things demand it- but I will force myself to leave as soon as business is concluded.)
I WILL log off the computer at a reasonable time (as in midnight or earlier!) for a whole week.

Thursday, May 27 - am: I will get the workshop stuff ready to go. (Week 4 will be partially complete as I am waiting on some email replies to finish it up.)
Thursday, May 27 - pm: Organize my desk for a better writing environment! (and easier finding of things)
Friday, May 28 - am: BREAK TIME (Won't even get on the computer!)
Friday, May 28 - pm: Finish TWO chapters of my novel rewrite.
Saturday, May 29 - am: BREAK TIME (No computer again)
Saturday, May 29 - pm: Finish two more chapters of my novel rewrite.
Sunday, May 30 - am: BREAK TIME (No computer!)
Sunday, May 30 - pm: Grade Academy assignments and post the new lessons.
Monday, May 31 - am: BREAK TIME (No computer!)
Monday, May 31 - pm: Finish two more chapters of my novel rewrite.
Tuesday, June 1 - am: Post up first days work for the workshop - but otherwise, no computer!
Tuesday, June 1 - pm: Finish two chapters of my novel rewrite
Wednesday, June 2 - am: Check on workshop ONLY! No other computer stuff!
Wednesday, June 2 - pm: Finish one chapter of my novel rewrite
Thursday, June 3 - am: Check on workshop ONLY! No other computer stuff!
Thursday, June 3 - pm: Make a list of blog topics for the month so that I am not panicing and writing at the last minute! (Feel free to leave suggestions for this people!)

So, there it is. Sounds like a plan to me! Plenty of down time and I get the most important things I need to do accomplished. During this time, I will be using the auto-post feature for the blog. A few of you may have read these entries over at "Scriven's Ink" but I think they will do nicely being posted here too. I won't be reading your comments as often as I used to, but please know that I will read every single one when I come back full speed next Thursday.

Now don't get me wrong. I love my busy hectic life and wouldn't have it any other way - but sometimes, I just need a break - we all do.

I will see you all next Thursday, and I hope you enjoy the auto-posted stuff that will be up during this week.

Lies and Giveaways

Author: Anastasia V. Pergakis // Category:

So, yesterday I posted up 7 outrageous things about myself and you guys had to guess which were true and which were lies. So today, I'll be telling the truth all the way around.

Okay first off, Amalia was correct to guess that I had put up 6 truths and 1 lie!

1. When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up to be an architect. TRUE
I loved designing houses as a kid with graph paper. My Dad even bought me a computer program that allowed me to design. It was cool because then the system would create a 3D Model that you could tour around (with furniture included)! I love the Sims games because I get to design entire neighborhoods full of houses and stuff!

2. My dream car is an El Camino (tricked out of course). TRUE
Yes Eric, I love El Caminos - not sure why really. I dated a guy in high school whose Dad had the most beautiful El Camino and that's when I fell in love. It was metallic black, grey interior, dual exhaust (with glass packs for that nice sound) *droooools*

3. I think I have the sexiest butt in the world. TRUE
Okay, I know it sounds arrogant, but I do think so. It's one of the few things I actually like about my body at the moment, so I gotta go with what I got!

4. I long to one day write a stage play (or two). TRUE
I wrote a really silly stage play once in High School with a friend of mine. I loved the experience and I want to write a serious one one of these days. (Not something thrown together for a homework assignment.) You were right Carolina!

5. I have an 'unhealthly' obsession with skulls. TRUE
I really do! I don't know why either! I'm not obsessed with death so it's not related to that. I think it's because of the Jolly Roger (ya know, skull and cross bones). I am picky about the skulls that I like - I don't like it when they like a knife coming out of their head or a snake coming out of its mouth. I juse like a skull that is doing like a meniachal laugh or something. MWahahaha!

6. I used to have spikey hair. TRUE
I sure did! Lovely spikey, no hassle hair. *sigh* Those were the days. My date to prom and I had the same style hair (same color and everything)!

7. I have been to so many rock concerts, I can't count them all. FALSE
In truth, I have only been to one concernt in my entire life (Way to go Amalia for guessing this right!) My best friend and I went to go see My Chemical Romance - it was totally awesome! They are my favorite band so it was really great to see them for my first live concert.

And, because it's so funny, I have to share a vision that Carolina had about me! "I'm imagining you leaning over a tricked out El Camino with your sexy butt on display, holding a skull in your hands. :D Interesting image worthy of its own story." So great! I might have to take a picture of this one day! (Of course, I would post it up here for you lovely people!)

And as I am nearing 100 followers (yay!) I am announcing that I'll have a giveaway of some type when I get there. Don't know what to give away just yet - or maybe I'll follow Shannon's lead and make a vlog! (Wait, I vowed to not make one of those things...) I don't know what I'll do exactly, but I'll do something great - well hopefully great!

My husband just told me that I should make a vlog - as he bought me the webcam and I don't really use it - so I might as well use it. We'll see.

Awards and Such

Author: Anastasia V. Pergakis // Category:

I have recieved a few awards as of late but have not had a chance to post about them, so it's a three in one day folks!

The first award is the Butterfly Award from the lovely Nicole!

Now I just pass it on to five people who have cool blogs! So where we go! Remember, I could only pick five! But if I'm following you, I think you're pretty cool too!

2. Eric - Digging with the Worms
3. Carolina - Carol's Prints
4. Karen - Eternal Moonshine of the Daydreaming Mind

1. Annie - Dutch Hill News
2. Dawn - Dawn Embers
3. DL - Crusing Altitude
4. Eisley - Eisley's Ellipses
5. Charity - My Writing Journey

And last but not least, we have the Creative Writer award from the totally awesome CJ Ellison.

I am supposed to tell 7 outrageous things about myself and my wonderful follows have to figure out which is true and which is a lie. I can either do 6 lies and 1 truth or 6 truth and 1 lie. You guys will have to figure it out! Have fun guessing! I do love this award - it's such great fun! (I'll post up the answers in a few days)

This is going to be hard as I did this once before - but I'll give it a shot! Then I must pass it on to seven people.

1. When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up to be an architect.
2. My dream car is an El Camino (tricked out of course).
3. I think I have the sexiest butt in the world.
4. I long to one day write a stage play (or two).

7. Haley Jo - A Journey through the Mind

Woo! That was exhausting! Now, on to finish checking emails and reading blogs! (And leaving comments to tell of these awards, but I'll prolly do that later tonight...)

Sunshine Award

Author: Anastasia V. Pergakis // Category:

Another award! I feel so loved! Thank you Mireyah for this lovely award! And I love her reason for giving it to me so I have to say it again -- " cuz I find it ironic to give the sunshine award to someone who likes skulls and really dark things. heehee" Hilarious!

The only rule for this award is to pass it on to 12 people! Gah! Luckily I have made some great friends in this wonderful blogosphere so I can actually hand out awards! Woot!

1. Ashelynn -- because she's an effing genius!
2. Jen -- because she rewrote 15 chapters in a month (and is still resonably sane).
3. T.S. Hendrik -- because his blog is HILARIOUS!!! (seriously a great place to just laugh yourself silly)
4. Jay -- because he posted one of my fav songs in his blog the other day!
5. Dawn -- because she's a great blogger! (always has great stuff to say!)
6. Mia -- because her posts always make me laugh.
7. Annie -- because she's just an awesome person!
8. Anne Altman-- because she has great writing tips and information.
9. Anne Riley -- because she has great writing information too!
10. Anthony -- because he posted the coolest video (seriously, you need to go watch it!)
11. Eisley -- because she's a great person and writer!
12. Susan -- because she blogs about dragons!

Whew! That was a lot! Now I need to go tell all these people they have an award - but I'll do that later. I'm on my way out of town! Yay! I get out of the house for once!

Social Experiment: Soulmates

Author: Anastasia V. Pergakis // Category:

So, I was tagged with this great award! It's a fun game and the rules are really simple.

Christi started this as a sort of social experiment to see where it would go. Regardless, I think it's absolutely fun!

The rules are easy:
1. Choose 5 of your follows that "get" you.
2. Write lies about them. (This is meant to be funny, not mean!)
3. Make sure the people you chose know you tagged them.
4. Link back to Chrisi's original post about this Here.

Sounds easy enough right? Okay so here we go! This is going to be hilarious! I was thinking about it all night! Woot!

Here is an example: Mia wrote this about me. You'll see how funny it is!

Harley is the head of a multi-national charity that saves and re-habilitates the punched out "hole" section of Polo Mints. So far, they have re-homed over 25 million of the little darlings thanks to the generous support of the public. The next big project she is working on is the campaigning for an end to Rubarb plant forcing, as part of the World Against Plant Cruelty Association (W.A.P.C.A.). They are holding a rally soon in Times Square, if anyone's interested in popping by to show their support.

Isn't that hilarious!! I died laughing! Okay, so here I go to tag 5 of my followers! (Okay there is only 4, but I stared at this blog post ALL DAY and could only come up with 4! I'm so sorry!)

1. Mireyah is currently in rehab for her addiction to a new drug on the street, code named "Blog". There is also "Internet" which is much more severe! Other drugs inclue "Twitter" and "Facebook". The poor girl is currently sitting in a straight jacket in a padded room repeating "Publish Post" followed by bird chirping noises over and over again. The doctors are not sure what the phrase means. They assume it has something to do with how to take the drug "Blog" or "Twitter" but they are not certain.

2. Jen is a famous (or perhaps infamous) interagator. She is best known for her techniques in getting male prisoners to talk. Some say that it is her feminine charm that gets them to talk, but ask any one of her male subordinates at the headquarters of Sector Double Zero. They will tell you the truth -- it's the threat of her famous Jewel Squeeze technique! Some say her grip is so strong she could turn a lump of coal into a diamond!

3. Ashelynn is the leader of an Anger Management group named "White Board". It's a place to rant about silly things on a literal white board. Be warned if you decide to attend however. For some reason Ashelynn and the other people there seem to like pouncing, tackling, and glomping other people. They are an easily excited group, so be careful! Don't make any sudden movements and whatever you do DO NOT bring candy, chocolate, or any caffinated beverage. It would only fuel the frenzy!

4. Kurt is a british spy! Don't let his blog fool you! His stories may be funny but it's just a front to gather information about people. His novels are really intel reports disguised so the public is completely unaware of his true intentions! If I suddenly disappear it's because Kurt has found me and made sure I could not tell his secret again!

So there it is - finally! I wasn't kidding that it took me all day to write this post! You don't have to continue this if you don't want to, it's all up to you!

On a side note, as you can see I put up a schedule over there <----- in the side bar. Obviously, I cannot hold to that. So, I'm going to remove it or at least change it to make it so I can actually keep up with it!

And on a personal note - my muse hates me this month! I can't write ANYTHING it seems without a headache and a fight with my muse! It's really starting to depress me. I would say I'm going to take a break from the online world but like that would ever really happen. I'm going to give it one last go around tonight, see what happens. Who knows, maybe now that I blogged/talked about it, my muse will cooperate!

Seven Truths About Me

Author: Anastasia V. Pergakis // Category:

Thank you so much Annie for this award! I have been struggling for something to post about these past few days and this award gives me something to blog about!

The rules for this award is to tell Seven Truths about myself and then pass it one to Seven People. Here we go!

It was really hard to come up with something unique, that I haven't already mentioned - so I decided to take a note from Annie and use a theme for these!

Theme: Writing & Reading

Truth #1: My poetry tends to be really dark. Seriously, have the tissues ready and your hands over your eyes if you ever read my poetry. I do have a few things that are just hilarious, but usually it's pretty dark (usualy written from my addicition days, so riddled with dark, twisted, demented things.)

Truth #2: I absolutely hate reading horror. I just can't do it! It's not that the author wrote it badly or anything like that. My imagination just won't allow me to read it AND sleep peacefully. It's just not possible. Also, the sad part (in my opinion) horror that doesn't scare me, bores me. So it's like, I can't win! (Or maybe the horror author can't win...) And I don't mean that I hate the book because it bored me, I mean that in the rare case, I feel like I wasted my time reading it because it was too cliche or whatever. So - I just don't read that genre, unless it's a student in the Writer's Academy. Then I buckle down, and make sure all the lights in the house are on!

Truth #3: I love reading mystery novels! It goes hand in hand for my love of crime shows on the tellie! I don't why exactly, but I think it's the "trying to make things right in a bad world" sort of deal. I just love it!

Truth #4: I write High Fantasy novels, but I usually don't read them. I don't know why either. I prefer to watch the movies but I will read an urban fantasy book in a heart beat! It's really weird and I know I need to break this habit. Reading books in my own genre will help me learn the market and all of that, but I guess I just have trouble finding them! It seems that urban fantasy (especially now) is more well known and popular than High Fantasy. Or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place....

Truth#5: I laugh meniacally (out loud) when I'm writing - why? Well that's because I just get so much enjoyment from torturing my characters! It's so much fun - and they are in my head all the while cursing me out. But when it's all said and done, they turn around and thank me because they got something out of it. (Like I finally let the girl get the guy after three chapters of sexual tension!)

Truth #6: I have, uh, steamy *ahem* dreams about some of my male characters. Okay, now this is definately insane - but I think I'm awesome for admitting it! I do, it's sad, I know! But - it is so easy to write those steamy scenes in my novels so HA!

Truth #7: I get inspiration at the most random moments. Okay, I know so many other writers are there going "Who doesn't?" But it's like - I'm reading CSS codes for building a website and my brain randomly pops up with a fight scene between two characters! How does that make any sense? Sure, if I was watching a movie with a fight scene and I thought of that, I would not think it was odd - but CSS codes make me think of a fight scene? That's just bizarre! But, it's the way my brain operates...it's insane in my head - can you tell?

And the seven wonderful people who recieve this award:

1. Dawn Embers
2. Eisely Jacobs
3. Jay Eckert
4. Addison
5. Mia
6. Medeia Sharif
7. J. D. Brown

There we go! Now what I am going to do for the future, so that I don't have a day where I don't know what to write for this blog is make a schedule. At least, I'm going to try. I have so many ideas for what I want to put into this blog that it's hard to pick what to write about first! But hopefully making a schedule will keep things in order. (The hard part would be STICKING to the schedule as my brain is so utterly RANDOM!)

I lied!!

Author: Anastasia V. Pergakis // Category:

As promised here is the post with the explanation of the 6 truths and 1 lie I posted about a few days ago when I got the wonderful "Creative Writer Award" from Jay.

1. I have five tattoos and want more. TRUTH
I have a teal moon on the outside of my right ankle, a green and purple butterfly on the inside of my left ankle, a cross with a rose wrapped around it on my left arm, a pink pegasus on my right arm, and a dragon holding a crystal ball on my left shoulder blade. The butterfly and dragon are unfinished and the pink pegasus SHOULD have been red (supposed to be like a horse-o-death) but I was drunk, biker campout, yea - so it came out lookin like a my little pony - disgusting! I definately want more but I should prolly finish and fix the ones I have first!

2. I was stabbed in the chest during a fight. TRUTH
Sorry Anne - this one is true. Got into a fist fight with a guy and he pulled out a knife. I tried to side step the blade and move in closer, but he moved before I could react and shebam. Luckily, since I saw it coming (just a little bit too late) it wasn't THAT bad of a wound. I do have a scar though and I didn't go to the hospital for it either. (Though I probably should have...)

3. I used to own a semi-automatic rifle. TRUTH
Yes, I loved it too! H&K SL8, shot .223 rounds, 10 round clip! It was the UGLIEST lookin thing ever - but SO beautiful! Grey polimer plastic made up the entire thing with the exception of the barrel and slide. *sigh* Then my Dad SOLD IT!! *dies a little inside* Yea he sold it to buy an AK-47 look a like or something when that 10 year ban that Clinton passed was no longer in affect. *cries*

4. I listen to the Backstree Boys. TRUTH
Sorry Annie and Media - this one is true. I know! So many of your are crying WHY!? There was a time in my life where I was technically, sort a, kinda - okay I was a preppy! Yes, hard to believe I know, but it's true. The Backstreet Boys took over my locker in Junior High - pictures all over the place! I still listen to their music as part of my brain DOES enjoy listening to it on the rare occasion!

5. I have two kids, not twins, that share the same birthday. LIE
Skylar's birthday is August 9 but her baby brother Mason's birthday is August 4. CLOSE, but not the exact same. Mason's due date WAS the 9th and my husband and I made jokes about it. But he came a few days early.

6. I was a cheerleader in high school. TRUTH
Yes, Jen - I was a cheerleader. Remember I said before that I once was preppy? Yup, it morphed over into my freshman year of high school. The summer between that year and my sophomore year was when it all changed and I turned into the cynical, twisted, b....yea, you get the idea!

7. I have been married two times. TRUTH
Ashy, I thought you knew this one! Yes, my first marriage only lasted 6 months and many people would say that it didn't count, but since it wasn't annuled, then it does. I still have to show my divorce papers at certain times (like when I got married the second time). Why didn't it work you ask? LOTS of reasons - I was 19 for one, I was drinking WAY too much for two, and I married him simply for his money! So -- yea. Did we divorce because he lost money? No, I left because he was a total .... BUTTHEAD! Yea that's a nice way to put it... I married my second husband because I loved him! Awww! (A year and counting!)

So there you go! A little more about me - insight into why I'm completely INSANE!

The rules for this award is to post 10 things about myself then pass it one to 5 other blogs. So here we go!

1. I am a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. I have been clean and sober for 3 1/2 years after being in a drug induced fog for almost 10. The hardest part was not quitting, it was living that way. Imagine if you will, waking up in the morning and being pissed off that you woke up, scared that everything was real, and sadened by that reality. Now imagine that for every single morning for 10 years. It was easier to quit and learn to actually live - seriously.

2. I have never graduated - from anything. Shocking right? Yes, I dropped out of high school in the middle of my senior year (might tell this story in another blog post- it's a long one). I got my G.E.D. instead a few years later. Then I went to college to be a legal secretary. Had one semester left after 1 year (shoved 2 years worth of classes into 1 year) and was kicked out. (Again, another really long story that I will probably never talk about in a blog! Let's just say, it relates back to the stuff I said previously in this post. Drugs can ruin every thing - and I do mean every thing.) I went back to college again just a few years ago, but had to quit due to lack of money to pay for it. (Having chidlren changes things of course). I was studying Criminal Justice.

3. I love psychology. I took extra psych classes during my time at college. It is a really interesting topic to me. I love to people watch and I find it fun to learn about why people do the things they do. I love to watch those shows "Inside the mind of a Serial Killer" type of things. I find it fascinating that sometimes the brain patterns of a serial killer or rapist is actually different than the average person. (This is also true for the brain patterns of alcoholics/addicts, just so you know.)

4. I have severe social anxiety. Really. I hate to be in public around other people. I find it suffocating and scares the death out of me. I have panic attacks althought in recent years since meeting my husband, I don't have them as often as I used to. I used to take medication for the panic attacks, but all that did was put me to sleep for 12 hours. Now I just try to do breathing exercises and other techniques I have found to work. (Like LEAVING the crowded place or not going at all!) There are times where it gets so bad I need to have someone rock me so that I can match my breathing to the pattern (sort of like for asthma attacks when they don't have an inhaler).

5. I'm not stupid, I just know completely useless information! Seriously, how would I get on with my life without knowing that in the medieval ages the reason for women having just extra long sleeves was to show wealth, as they could afford to waste the fabric in such a way! Or how about knowing how to properly land after jumping out of an Army plane? (not the stupid way they do it in the movies!) (Sure if was a paratrooper that is valuable knowledge, but I'm a 25 year old stay at home mom!) Oh and the best knowledge of all, that is probably most important - HAN SHOT FIRST!

6. I can read in write in another 'language' other than English. It's not necessarily a language perse, but the ancient germanic runes are a text that was used for communication. I can write and read the text just as well as I can English. (Again this also qualifies as somewhat useless information because when would I need to know how to read this text?)

7. I can technically say I am working on 7 novels at the same time. Yea, enough said. (I bet your thinking, "No wonder she's insane!")

8. What else? I don't what to say! Umm...I don't wear make up, ever. Don't see the point really. It just makes my skin break out anyway so why make it worse? The rare times I do is for formal dressy times or if I'm in the mood to "goth out" as I say. But even then it's usually just mascara, eye shadow and lipstick. Don't need blush as my cheeks are naturally rosy and foundation just makes my skin break out so...

9. I am ambedextrious. To a point. I can't write very well with my left (But I'm sure if I practiced it would be easy to pick up) and I can only golf with my left but pretty much everything else I can with both hands. As a note, I am technically right handed. I have to learn something first with my right hand then it is an easy switch to the left (except for golf that I can't do right handed no matter how hard I try!)

10. Last thing! I have been asked to be a guest writer for http://wickedwriters.com/! I cannot believe I was asked to write something about reviewing books! I am so honored! It will be appearing the third week of march and I will put a little blurb in my writing blog, Labotomy of a Writer. So keep an eye out for it!

I have to pass this on to 5 other blogs, but I don't know anyone really! The ones I do know have already recieved this award!

4. To the first person who replies to this post that is not already on this list!
5. To the second person who replies to this post that is not already on this list!

I really need to get to know more people on the blog network here! But there it is! Thanks so much again Mireyah for thinking of me and honoring me with this great award!
